To find out if you have Microsoft PowerPoint

Windows:
Click Start, point to Programs, and look for "Microsoft PowerPoint." If you are using Windows 98, you may have to scroll the menu down by pointing at the arrow at the bottom of the screen. If you do not see "Microsoft PowerPoint," you will need to download the viewer, which you can do from the main page.

However, if you do see Microsoft PowerPoint, run it by clicking its icon. After PowerPoint has loaded, click the Help menu and click About. Again, you may have to click the arrow at the bottom of the menu to see the About command. The About screen will tell you what version of PowerPoint you have. If you have PowerPoint 95 or earlier, you will need to download the viewer, which you can do from the main page. If you have PowerPoint 97, 2000, or 2002, you have all you will need to run the presentations.

Macintosh:
Download the presentations you are interested in from the Macintosh Page and try to open them. If they open and run properly, you have software capable of viewing the presentations.
